A three-tier vision: local, national, international
An investment-cultural vision that transforms the Asir region from a custodian of inherited memory into a national laboratory of creative production—exporting its working models to the rest of the Kingdom and beyond. The strategy operates concurrently across three integrated tiers, each drawing legitimacy from the one below and feeding the one above.
Local · Within the Region
Reactivating Al-Muftaha Village as a permanent home for Asiri arts and exhibitions, and embedding regional culture within the educational system through applied workshops in schools and universities that cultivate rootedness and belonging in the next generation.
National · Across the Kingdom
Positioning Asir as a national creative laboratory whose models are exportable to other Saudi regions, and attracting content-makers and producers to film within the region—activating cultural and economic life and revealing Asir's natural and heritage beauty within national drama and the arts.
Global · Cooperation with UNESCO
Presenting Asiri arts in international biennials and forums through a contemporary vision that reveals the diversity of Saudi identity through an Asiri lens. Cooperation with UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture has commenced through joint initiatives to document and empower these granular cultures—including the design of a sonic identity for Asir, a musical work inspired by the region's nature, intended to serve as a global signature wherever culturally and religiously appropriate.
